Alessia Cara named second in BBC Sound Of 2016

Following on from Mura Masa, WSTRN, Blossoms and Nao, Alessia Cara has become the latest artist to land herself a spot in the top 5 of the BBC Sound Of 2016 poll.

Arriving in second place on the list, Alessia Cara became a huge name in North America last year. The release of her debut single 'Here' racked up millions of hits online, and led to the release of her debut album 'Know It All' at the end of 2015.

The winner of the BBC Sound Of poll will be announced on the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show tomorrow (8th January) morning, and you can listen again to Alessia Cara's track 'Here' below.
