With only one week left before they release their hotly-tipped sophomore album, The Amazons have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single '25' is described as a lyrical self-analysis of lead singer Matthew Thomson’s view of being 25, and follows on from the previously shared tracks ‘Doubt It’ and ‘Mother’ in preview their second LP 'Future Dust', which arrives on the 24th May via Fiction Records.
Speaking about the new release, the frontman added, “I wrote 25 two months before I turned 25, to try to work out where I am in life. The song mimics the confusion that I constantly feel, that everyone my age feels. Are we all narcissists or are we really switched on?”
