Apple Music launches today

It has been the source of controversy and intrigue for the last few weeks but finally, Apple Music and its Beats 1 radio station will go live today.

At 4pm GMT, the new streaming service will be open for business and become part of the next iOS update for iPhone users. It will be free to use for the first three months to those that sign up and £9.99 a month after that.

Then at 5pm, the 24-hour radio station Beats 1 will start up, with Zane Lowe taking the reins on the opening show. Tonight the show is due to feature a new track from Pharrell Williams and an interview with Eminem.
