Arcade Fire unveil new track 'Baby Mine'

Having been teasing the release for more than a week, Arcade Fire have now unveiled their contribution to the soundtrack for the forthcoming live-action Disney remake of 'Dumbo'.

The new track 'Baby Mine' is a cover of one of the songs that featured on the original soundtrack for the 1941 animated film, and also sees contributions from frontman Win Butler's mother and son.

Speaking about their new release, the singer added, “My mom plays the harp on the track, my brother the theremin, my wife sings and plays drums, and our son even plays the triangle, as well as the rest of our ‘family’ in Arcade Fire,” Win Butler has said in a statement. “I will forever relate to the song thinking about the people I hold so dear that are ‘so precious to me.’ Listen for the cameo of my grandpa Alvino’s famous Sonovox at the end.”

'Dumbo' is expected to hit cinemas on the 29th March, and you can check out the new rendition of 'Baby Mine' in the player below.
