Having spent her teenage years as a model, US singer Kacy Hill's rise through the music industry has been fast, thanks to the influence of a Mr. Kanye West. Having released a one-off single, 'Experience', back in 2014, she went on to be a backup dancer on Kanye's Yeezus tour later that year. It was from just hearing that one song that he signed her to his G.O.O.D. Music label as one of the few non-rap artists on there.
Since then, she released her debut EP 'Bloo' at the end of last year. And while it was wildly overlooked by the UK press, her announcement of a new album and its lead single 'Lion' has been turning heads ever since. With her light yet powerful voice, Hill has managed to create a sound that is not only extremely atmospheric, but one that has the power to send shivers down your spine. It is fair to say that after just one listen to her voice, you will be transfixed evermore.
