With bands like Haim and Kings Of Leon proving to be worldwide hit makers, it seems that keeping it in the family is proving once again to be a recipe for success. Especially now that folk-rock outfit Wildwood Kin are soon to release their long-awaited debut album.
The band, comprised of sisters Beth and Emillie Key, and their cousin Meghann Loney, have spent the last few years releasing a flurry of brilliant singles, which have landed them praise Jo Whiley, Mark Radcliffe and Steve Wright, not to mention tours with Seth Lakeman and Ward Thomas. But all that buzz is finally coming to fruition with the announcement of their debut album 'Turning Tides', which is due to be released on the 18th August.
The record's latest single 'Run' has already proven itself a staple of the indie-rock world of 2017. With its powerful vocals and soothing harmonies, the trio are set to become one of the most talked about new names of the year.
