It's the start of a new year, but already we are seeing a crop of new artists looking to make their mark on the year ahead. And once again, we are heading to Scandinavia to find that batch of countries have once again delivered a brilliant new artist to our shores.
Although originally born in Italy, 21-year-old singer Lilly Ahlberg was raised in Sweden by her English mother and Swedish father. After spending much of her teenage years performing stripped-back covers on Youtube, the young star quickly developed a strong following, with her videos receiving millions of views.
But since signing to HOT HOT RECORDS/Polydor Records, Lilly has moved herself to London to begin her journey as a solo artist, with the release of her debut single 'Bad Boys'. A fresh and energetic pop cut, the new single sees her follow the current trend of pulsing electro-pop with a flair for stunning songwriting.
