You are never short of finding leftfield or experimental producers in this day and age, but with so much noise around at the moment, it is genuinely surprising to find an electronic artist that is both original and confident in his own abilities.
Chicago-native but New York based producer Gilligan Moss may have spent the last few years knocking out the odd production or remix, but has now announced his debut EP and the lead single has already got us more than excited.
Taken from his forthcoming EP 'Ceremonial', the new track 'Choreograph' is one of those songs that you just can't find comparisons to. Mixing erratic production with a haunted vocal ambience, and then taking on a journey of unconventional song-structures, you can't quite believe how brilliant it is until it's over. It keeps on giving you more and more to wrap your head around before finally reaching its playful and rapturous conclusion.
