ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No. 80 Black Peaks

Since Royal Blood became one of the fastest selling acts in the UK's music history in 2013, the industry has begun to take the genre very seriously once again and has managed to spawn a whole host of underlings looking to be the next new name in British rock.

And it looks like we could see that in Brighton outfit Black Peaks. After months on the promotional front, the south coast band have been proving a huge draw for the masses with thousands flocking to see them play all over the country.

Their mixture of hardcore melodies with an accessible twist has given them a commercial edge over many of their counterparts, and made them as radio-friendly as bands like Enter Shikari and Bring Me The Horizon have become over the last decade.

Black Peaks' debut album 'Statues' is set for release on the 26th February and you can catch the band across the UK as they tour through March and April.
