Having made a cult name for himself over the last few years with a string of fresh and vibrant lo-fi indie-pop anthems, Norway's Jimi Somewhere aka Benjamin Schandy cemented his introduction to the world earlier this year with his breakthrough EP 'The Pony Boy', and has now capped off his 2019 with the release of two brand new tracks.
The new singles 'Benton Way / Backseat' continue that same enticing and unique sound that we have heard from him so far this year. Accompanied by a video directed by Martin Kopperud and the man himself, and the former produced alongside Milo Orchis, these new offerings look to add even more buzz to the fledging frontman as he mixes breezy synths with a smooth and laid-back atmosphere that is quickly becoming his signature sound.
