Blanck Mass announces 'Calm With Horses' original score

After delivering his brilliant fourth studio album 'Animated Violence Mild' last year, producer Benjamin John Power aka Blanck Mass has now returned to announce his very first film score.

The new release 'Calm With Horses-Original Score' accompanies the directorial feature-film debut of Nick Rowland 'Calm With Horses', a raw and beautiful tale of one man’s struggle to navigate both crime and family life in rural Ireland, starring Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan.

Speaking about his work on the project, the producer said, “Stepping inside the world Nick created was both a new challenge and a rewarding experience. Trying to depict the internal dialogues of the rich and varying characters required me adopting a new discipline, like going undercover as opposed to expressing my own emotion.

"Although the score I created has a rich tapestry of sentiments, tying them all together and creating a coherent journey both to picture and as a standalone score has been an amazing experience. The working relationship between Nick and I was explorative and enlightening and I really enjoyed working hands on with him.”

'Calm With Horses-Original Score' will be available to stream and download from the 13th March to coincide with the film's release. You can check out the singles 'The Devers' and 'Jack’s Theme' in the player and see the release's full tracklisting below.
