After making a surprise return last month by dropping the singles 'Hey, Ma' and 'U (Man Like)', Bon Iver has now announced his plans to release a new studio album next month.
The new full-length 'i,i' will feature a host of incredible collaborators including James Blake, The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Channy Leaneagh, Moses Sumney and TU Dance, will include the newly shared tracks ‘Jelmore’ and ‘Faith’, and is set to be released on the 30th August via Jajaguwar Records.
Speaking about his return, frontman Justin Vernon said, “It feels very much like the most adult record, the most complete. It feels like when you get through all this life, when the sun starts to set, and what happens is you start gaining perspective. And then you can put that perspective into more honest, generous work.”
