Over these last few years, Knoxville's Connor Kelly & The Time Warp have cemented themselves as one of the more progressive additions to the international psych-rock scene. Blending these broad and wondrous atmospheres with a driven approach to their songwriting and production, the band have quickly found a distinctive and immersive avenue in which to explore with every passing year. And with plenty of praise for their 2022 LP 'Distant Forest', they are now back on the grind once again with their wondrous new studio album 'This Egg', a record that continues that vibrant aesthetic they are known for.

While not as psychedelically enhanced as some of their previous material, 'This Egg' still manages to retain plenty of that rich and mesmerising appeal they have conjured since they first arrived. Adopting a more indie-rock-inspired vibe for this new collection, the band look to establish this new era within their career with some of their more resonant and heartfelt work yet. Offering up some truly emotive tones from start to finish, Connor Kelly & The Time Warp are in a new and adventurous guise here, something that they are looking to push as far as it will go at every turn.

While plenty has already been said about their innovative spirit over the years, 'This Egg' stands as a strong and commanding addition to their ever-evolving repertoire. Brimming with warmth and vigour across all twelve tracks, they continue to shine as one of the more endearing names doing the rounds right now.
