Foo Fighters to go on hiatus

Although most fans were hoping for a big tour announcement last night, Foo Fighters took the time to officially announce that the band would be on indefinite hiatus.

While the released video, which also features producer Butch Vig, pokes fun at frontman Dave Grohl's apparent solo ambitions, the news of the hiatus is serious and puts to rest the large amount of break up rumours that have circled the band so far this year.
