After already announcing their plans to release a new album earlier this year, Franz Ferdinand have now shared a quick clip of what they have been working on.

A 10-second video of synth playing was uploaded to the band's Twitter page under the heading 'ARE YOU READY?' This will be the band's first piece of new material since the departure of guitarist Nick McCarthy and first album since 2013's 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action'.
