After making a huge impression on their home state Tennessee over the last few years, emerging outfit Behold The Brave now have their sights set on world domination as they unveil their latest effort 'Doctor'.
Channelling a raw and upbeat aesthetic throughout, 'Doctor' showcases their wonderfully playful side perfectly. Jam-packed with killer riffs, anthemic hooks, and a catchy demeanour throughout, this new release will have you tapping your toes in no time.
So with the new single out and about, we caught up with them to find out more about their background and what has inspired them most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
The good old six string. For 6 reasons:
1. Girls
2. God
3. Free Bird
4. Christmas
5. Girls
6. Leather vests
What kind of music did you love as a teenager?
Pop Punk, christian hardcore, & the intro song to the O.C.
What was the first album you remember owning?
Hanson: Middle of nowhere. Still own it. Still listen to it.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
The JG Wentworth jingle.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
Put on helmet, bang head on wall, pinch nipples.
Who are your favorite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Kinda awkward but…..R. Kelly.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
The Blue Man Group.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
Something starting in your head, to rough acoustic, to shitty demo, to full band production, to playing it live and seeing people get down.
And what is the most frustrating part?
TIME TIME TIME. Everything you want to get done in the business takes FOREVER!
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art” - Andy Warhol.
