What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

My first guitar which I still own! It was a gift for Christmas by my lovely parents.

What has been the most prominent inspiration behind your music so far?

David Bowie hands down! I was “introduced” to him by my father when I was about six years old and while other kids began listening to the casual 90s stuff I was totally lost into David Bowie!

What kind of music did you love as a teenager?

Beside David Bowie I was listening a lot to grunge music like Nirvana and Audioslave. Somehow it changed a bit to Hip Hop later and I bought myself records of Outkast, Redman and Dr. Dre. But grunge has been always in my playlist!

What inspires you to make music?

Definitely my dad! He was also a musician before he has to take a casual job as an electronic engineer at the age of 22 to take care of me, my stepbrother and my other two sisters. And of course, the fact that music keeps people moving. Doesn’t matter if you are lost, broke, happy, running, falling, loving or hating, music keeps you moving!

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

I would say Khalid, The Average White Band, Woodkid and Miley Cyrus’ live performances are catching me right now!

How many of your songs have you written about people in your life?

All of them and I wrote over a hundred! When I write songs, I don’t follow a specific method, it all comes out of my subconscious which you can’t control. Everything that moves you deep inside subjectively is saved in there and obviously until now it’s all about people around me by now.

What has been the most unusual moment in your career so far?

Few years ago, I played a show in a small town in front of approx. 300 people. While I was performing a girl in the front row began to touch herself really carefully because she obviously wanted to do my lead guitarist!

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

MUSE hands down! Best live show on the planet!

If you weren’t a musician, what other path do you think you might have taken?

This kind of questions I have been asked a lot! The thing is if you ask a real musician that question he will always say “…what?”! Sure, he could be a teacher or a politician or a truck driver, but then a musician will always leave a part of his body and soul behind. He will run through this world his entire life searching for a reason why he’s so unhappy and feeling empty. But to answer this question, if I was ok with being unhappy and feeling empty maybe I could be a medical engineer. (just because I studied this for 3 years and it was really inspiring).

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Go out and play!
