Getting To Know... Pib

After spending the last few months releasing a rich and vibrant wave of breezy indie-pop singles, US producer Pib now returns with his latest laid-back banger 'All 2 Much'.

Bringing in a mix of bold and shimmering psych-pop influences to his latest cut, 'All 2 Much' makes for a wonderfully woozy return. Packed with an energetic pace, uplifting production, and some brilliantly hypnotic vocals at the helm, be sure to give this one a whirl if you are in need of a good time.

So with the new single doing the rounds, we sat down with him to find out more about his background and what has inspired him most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

Guitar.

What was the first song that inspired you to make your own music?

'Babe I’m Gonna Leave You' - Led Zeppelin.

What kind of music did you love as a teenager?

Classic Rock; Beatles, Alice Cooper, The Who, Zeppelin, Black Sabbath.

What do you find is the best environment to find inspiration for your music?

My car when I'm delivery driving.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

Alchemist, The Strokes, The Weeknd, Charli XCX, Dorian Electra, Jpegmafia.

How many of your songs have you written about people in your life?

1.

What has been the most unusual moment in your career so far?

Going from a band to a pop artist.

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

The Strokes/The Voidz.

If you weren’t a musician, what other path do you think you might have taken?

I don’t know probably counselling.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Don’t be afraid to change and adapt. If something isn't working for you adjust and you wont regret it in the long run.
