With their eagerly-awaited new album now less than a month away, HONNE have dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Say That You Will Wait For Me' sees them team up with rising 22-year-old UK based artist Liang Lawrence for the release, and follows on from the previously shared efforts 'Girl In The Orchestra', 'Imaginary', 'Songs In My Head' and 'Backseat Driver' in previewing their new LP 'OUCH', which is out on the 6th September via Smile More Recordings / AWAL Recordings.
Speaking about the new offering, the band's Andy Clutterbuck said, "‘Say That You Will Wait For Me’ is a familiar subject matter for us. It’s about going away and missing the heck out of someone. This song really touches a nerve however, as now I’m a parent, it’s doubly hard to say goodbye and to leave. It’s also heartbreaking to leave your kid behind as when you say goodbye you know they don’t understand that you aren’t coming home that evening. ‘Say That You Will Wait For Me’ is my way of saying please say you’ll remember me when I get back from."
