After returning near the end of last year with their comeback single ‘Basquiat’, Ibibio Sound Machine have now unveiled the details behind their highly-anticipated new studio album, set to arrive later in the Spring.
The new full-length 'Doko Mien', which translates as 'Tell Me' in Ibibio, follows on from their incredible 2017 LP ‘Uyai’, is being previewed by the newly shared title-track, and is set to be released on the 22nd March via Merge Records.
Speaking about the new release, frontwoman Eno Williams said, “Music is a universal language, but spoken language can help you think about what makes you emotional, what makes you feel certain feelings, what you want to see in the world.”
