James Vincent McMorrow returns with new single 'Headlights'

Having remained largely quiet since the release of his 2017 LP 'True Care', Irish singer and songwriter James Vincent McMorrow is now back to release a brand new single.

The new track 'Headlights' is the first piece of new material from the frontman in three years, and is set to feature on his forthcoming fifth full-length, which is expected to be announced soon via Columbia Records.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, "I wanted 'Headlights' to start in a plaintive humble place and finish in this huge place".

While working on the new record, James became a father and explains how that has influenced his writing, “I have more responsibilities, people and expectations around me than ever, and the world is constantly telling me to change and grow as a person. But I don’t feel any more responsible or capable than I did when I was 18 years old. This record is about embracing the idea that it’s okay to not have things figured out."
