Justice announce new album 'Hyperdrama'

Following on from the release of their much-loved 2016 LP 'Woman', Justice have now made their long-awaited return as they announce the details behind their next studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'Hyperdrama' is being previewed by the new singles 'One Night/All Night' starring Tame Impala, which comes accompanied by a stunning Anton Tammi-directed video, and 'Generator', and will be released on the26th April via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.

Speaking about the Tame Impala collaboration, they said, “This is Kevin [Parker] singing. This is the touchstone of this record. Like okay, let’s make a song that’s all techno, then all disco, and then it’s all techno again. It’s a bit like when you have wine that doesn’t fit well with what you’re doing and they’re fighting for attention but it still tastes good.”

While adding about 'Generator', “To us, this one sounds like ‘Getaway’ by the Salsoul Orchestra, but with gabber and classic ‘90s techno sounds. We love all kinds of music that don't really appear in Justice. But I would say that the main two types of music that coexist in Justice since the beginning are disco funk and more electronic music. And particularly on Generator we make them coexist, but not really in a peaceful way. We like this idea of making them fight a bit for attention.”
