Kate Tempest announces new album 'The Book Of Traps And Lessons'

Following on from her brilliant 2016 studio ‘Let Them Eat Chaos’, Kate Tempest has now returned to announce the details behind her next studio LP, arriving this summer.

The new full-length 'The Book Of Traps And Lessons' will become the poet's fourth record to date, is being previewed by the new single 'Firesmoke', and is set to be released on the 14th June via American Recordings/Fiction.

Speaking about her new track, she said, “I think of the song like a cleansing moment in the wider context of the record, in the same way that a relationship can be a cleansing moment in the wider context of a life. A kind of a turning point. I wrote it for my woman. Inspired by her and everything that falling in love with her has taught me.”
