The Maccabees' Orlando Weeks announces new book and album 'The Gritterman'

Since the disbanding of The Maccabees earlier this year, former frontman Orlando Weeks has unveiled his plans to release not just a new album, but a new book as well.

The new novel 'The Gritterman' has been penned by Weeks himself, and is being released with an accompanying full-length album, narrated by the legendary Fast Show comedian Paul Whitehouse.

Both 'The Gritterman' book and album are due out on the 7th September, and you can check out the track 'Seasonal Hero', taken from the record, in the player below.
