Magnus Bechmann - 'What Do You Know'

After delivering his highly-praised debut EP back in 2017, which went on to receive acclaim from the likes of Clash, NME, and being named ‘Band of the week’ in The Guardian, Norwegian frontman Magnus Bechmann is now returning to ready us for his debut album with the glittering new single 'What Do You Know'.

Taking influence from the fresh and vibrant indie-pop direction of Two Door Cinema Club and The 1975, this new offering sees the artist deliver a truly uplifting and euphoric preview for his initial full-length. With its driven rhythm and bright overtones, his newest release looks to cement him as a wonderfully bright addition to the new musical landscape. His new LP is said to have been inspired by awkward situations from everyday life, which has allowed him to grow as a songwriter and take time to reflect on life’s experiences.

Speaking about his latest offering, he said, "’Situations in everyday life that are usually not a big deal can grow totally out of proportion whilst laying awake in bed at night, unable to sleep. ‘What Do You Know’ is about just one of these situations, where you find yourself in a relationship that is better to get out of than to stay in’’.
