Ever since he first emerged, Brooklyn's Matt Basile has always looked to conjure a more emotive presence than most. Embarking on this broad and innovative delve into the alt-country realm with a smattering of singles over the years, his tenure to date has been filled with this broad and lofty pursuit of some brilliantly riveting releases lately. And with his profile growing ever-stronger with each new offering, he is now looking to cement his dynamic legacy to date with the release of his eagerly-awaited debut album 'Feet To The Fire', a record that continues that adventurous spirit of his.

As a country artist from the Northern States, Matt Basile's style towards the genre certainly holds this enigmatic appeal. While much of 'Feet To The Fire' looks to explore a more traditional edge, there is plenty of interesting innovation going on here to keep the momentum of the LP moving forward throughout.
