After releasing his highly-coveted debut album ‘Telluric’ back in 2016, Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby has now returned with the first taste of what we can expect on his eagerly-awaited follow-up.
The new single 'No Ordinary Life' is set to appear on his soon-to-be-announced sophomore studio album, and aims to reflect a new period in his life since becoming a father for the first time.
“For some reason when you say Willy Wonka, it sets a mood”, Corby explains, “this magical, hyper-melodic, crooning, beautiful thing, a journey into the whimsical. We tried to make this song and a few others in that vein – as joyous as possible, which is definitely a change to what I used to do.”
