Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds share new single 'Long Dark Night'

With their highly-anticipated new album landing later next month, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have now dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Long Dark Night' follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Frogs' and the record's title-track in previewing their new LP 'Wild God', which is out on the 30th August.

Speaking about the new offering, Cave said, “Long Dark Night is inspired by one of the greatest and most powerful poems of conversion ever written. Ultimately, though, it's a beautiful country tune. It feels like a sweet companion to the song, Wild God.”
