Roga Raph - 'We'll See'

8/10

Ever since he first emerged on the scene with his breakthrough debut album 'Visionary Shift' back in 2015, New York's Roga Raph has stood as one of the more progressive names in the hip-hop scene. Spending much of the last few years turning out a broad and diverse array of jams, his legacy grows with every release and cements him as a true innovator doing the rounds today. And after a flurry of immersive efforts already this year, he returns once again with his progressive new EP 'We'll See', a release brimming with fresh and interesting ideas.

Much like what his 2021 EP 'Passing Moments' showed us, 'We'll See' sees him delve further into that shimmering hip-hop aesthetic he has been cultivating recently. Featuring the recently shared gems 'So it seems' and its vibrant title-track, this new seven-track collection makes for an incredibly powerful listen. With each outing its own individual narrative and story to tell, his killer flow makes light work of these emotive cuts, adding even more levity to his already embracing persona.

These last few years have already been a great time for self-discovery and innovation for him, and 'We'll See' stands as the pinnacle of that adventurous nature. Always finding something new and fascinating in which to explore, Roga Raph continues to shine throughout this vibrant new collection.

'We’ll See' is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms through Raph’s own label, S.O.O.N.
