Sŵn Festival announce second wave of acts

With the legendary bar-hopping festival set to return to Cardiff later this year, Sŵn Festival have now announced the second wave of acts set to perform at this year's event.

35 new artists including Rosie Lowe (pictured), Tom Ravenscroft, Squid, Chastity Belt, Swimming Tapes, Fatherson and Charlotte Adigéry are all set to join the previously announced Twin Peaks, Gruff Rhys and Nilüfer Yanya in playing the three-day festival, which is set to take place across multiple Cardiff venues from the 18th-20th October.

Speaking about the new announcement, Guto Brychan, Chief Executive of Clwb Ifor Bach, said, “The second wave of artists adds another layer of amazing talent to the line-up. With artists coming to Wales from across the world, it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the unity of music in the place we call home.

“We can’t wait to enjoy the eclectic mix of sounds from iconic names to fresh new faces in the music industry. At Clwb, we have always been committed to supporting new and upcoming acts and the new music strategy should see that we can continue to do that.”
