With their eagerly-awaited new album now just a few weeks away, Superorganism have dropped yet another cut lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Into The Sun' sees them team up with Stephen Malkmus, Gen Hoshino, and Pi Ja Ma for the release, is accompanied by a stunning AEVA-directed video, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'On & On', 'crushed.zip', 'Teenager' ft. CHAI and Pi Ja Ma, and 'It's Raining' ft. Stephen Malkmus in previewing their sophomore LP 'World Wide Pop', which is out on the 15th July via Domino.
Speaking about the new offering, the band's Harry said, “The whole record is all about combining different worlds and scales, so it was a real thrill to be able to mix Gen into a track with Malkmus and Pi Ja Ma. It's a carefree song, somewhat about being in your own bubble, so bringing those French, American, and Japanese artists into that world reconnects the SuperO universe with these other bubbles - a bit of a multiverse!” Orono adds: “It all came together super naturally, a cute little lovebug song moment”.
