Tim Rose unveils new track 'Left On Read'

After his two previous releases, 'Please Please' and 'Your Team', Hawaiian-based singer-songwriter Tim Rose shares his latest single, 'Left On Read'. The song is the third piece in a series of visual stories culminating in a short film, created by Rose himself. Since the highly successful release of his debut EP <3, Rose has received success all over the globe with hundreds of thousands of streams and over 200 live shows.

'Left On Read' is the most upbeat songs out of the three releases and includes Rose’s signature soulful guitar strums spiced up with some funky grooves. His latest release is perfect for a chilled summer night with friends and echoes Tom Misch’s modern jazz-infused sound. The song is about the struggles of online dating, the singer-songwriter adds: “Left On Read is about dating through your smartphone and the pitfalls associated with getting to know someone through technology.” The single’s music video is filmed in a retro 35mm style, which emphasises the transition from old-school dating to online dating and their similarities.

Unlike so many other artists, Tim Rose is the prime example that determination, passion and making sacrifices plays a vital role in making your dreams come true. Rose has been living in a van for the past four years to save money to cover the expenses to record his first debut album in New York. Have a listen to 'Left On Read' in the player below.
