Trust Fund - 'Seems Unfair'

8/10

Despite releasing their brilliant debut album 'No-One's Coming For Us' earlier this year, Bristol group Trust Fund have already finished its follow up and are looking to gather the same momentum as its predecessor. While many will look to compare the two albums, its been made clear that this is a completely separate work that seems to suit the bands extremely fast and eclectic output.

Squeezing out a mix of grunge, surf rock and pop, 'Seems Unfair' is a short but sweet album that aims to be nothing more than a ray of sunshine to brighten up your day. The rustic, DIY approach to production gives the record an extremely earthy feel, which adds to simple pleasure that this new release is hoping to be.

Spritely and enjoyable throughout, 'Seems Unfair' has the perfect blend of influences that Trust Fund are looking to present and still holds up against their older body of work. A great indie ditty from start to finish.
