Unreleased Aphex Twin album shared online

Earlier this year, producer Aphex Twin chose to sell a rare unreleased test pressing of his "long lost" 1994 album 'Caustic Window' for nearly £8,000. But through a Kickstarter campaign, fans of the erratic beatmaker managed to gather more than £20,000 in order to not only buy it, but release it as well.

The rare Aphex Twin album, that made it to the test pressing stage more than 20 years ago but remained unreleased, has now been replicated as a digital copy for the benefit of all those that supported the pledge, and is now available to stream in full via Youtube.

Bought by users of the music forum We Are the Music Makers (WATMM), they now plan to sell the original copy of the album on eBay. A third of the proceeds of the sale will go back to Richard James AKA Aphex Twin and his label Rephlex, a second third to those that contributed to the Kickstarter campaign, with the final chunk going to a yet to be named charity.
