Andre 3000 to produce Aretha Franklin covers album

In a recent interview with Billboard, legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin announced the news that Andre 3000 will be a producer on her forthcoming covers album.

Earlier this year, Franklin teased that the Outkast man would be working with her on a forthcoming release but so far Andre 3000 is said to only be producing four of the tracks from the new record.

The new album will feature covers of Donna Summer, Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner as well as Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep', and is expected to see a September release with the exact date yet to be confirmed.
