If there is one thing we have all noticed from this year's BBC Sound Of 2017 poll, it is that urban music is surely going to dominate the sound of the year ahead. Most of the emerging acts listed on the poll are from this side of the industry and one name that has caught our attention the most is London-based MC Stefflon Don.
We first came across the young rapper when she became the guest vocalist for the summer club-smash by Mason, which later became known as 'Fashion Killa'. Since then we have seen her collaborate with a whole host of other artists including Jeremih, Krept & Konan, as well as producing a number of her own tracks.
She has been a active part of the capital's music scene for years now, but it looks like 2017 will be the one that sees Stefflon Don move from guest contributor to a main stage artist in her own right.
Have a listen to her latest single 'Real Ting' from her forthcoming mixtape of the same name below.
