While any band from Sheffield will automatically see themselves compared to the Arctic Monkeys, this latest group to emerge from the silver city are looking to set their own and unique path into the national music scene.
After releasing their debut single 'Live For The Moment' at the end of last year, The Sherlocks have found themselves on the bill of Reading & Leeds Festival as well as extensive touring throughout the country, both headlining and a support act for the likes of Cast, The Enemy and The Ordinary Boys.
Their distinctive Northern swagger, mixed with a hint of Springsteen-style songwriting, has made this four-piece a huge recipe for success after their latest single 'Heart Of Gold' has managed regular airplay on both BBC Radio 1 and 6Music.
The Sherlocks will be continuing their current UK tour throughout November and their new track 'Heart Of Gold' will be available to download from the 6th November. Have a listen to it in the player below.
