The UK has never had a problem in creating forward-thinking and mind-bending producers, but it looks like we are going to get one more in the form of Leeds-based beatmaker Krrum.
Having only just emerged onto the scene in the last few months, the producer has found himself riding a strong wave of acclaim, thanks to his debut single 'Morphine' and the more recent 'Evil Twin'. Both of which seem to push the boundaries of conventional electronic music and deliver a more abstract and engaging direction to the genre.
With nods to RnB, techno, bass music and hip-hop, Krrum's sound is hard to pin down but has managed to earn him regular rotation on Radio 1 and a whole host of music features in the press.
