As we eagerly await the release of their hotly-tipped debut EP early next year, fast-rising Manchester-based outfit Bayboards return once again with their mesmerising new offering 'Mother Nature'.
Capturing more of that rich and tantalising indie-rock direction they are building for themselves, 'Mother Nature' makes for a wonderfully warm and enchanting listen. With its broad and soaring energy, matched with some instantly engaging hooks throughout, they are cementing themselves as one of the more exciting names on the rise right now.
Speaking about the new release, frontman Ben Coley said, "'Mother Nature' comes from a place of fear, I remember one day looking at my phone and just seeing headline after headline about how the planet is falling apart; it scared me. We are not telling people what to do, we have no right to do that. We are just pointing out the obvious and saying it scares us. i guess as a way of therapy or like venting or something.”
Bayboards' debut EP 'Modern Age Disaster' will be released on the 24th March via Scruff of the Neck, and you can watch the new video for 'Mother Nature' in the player below.
