After introducing themselves with their stellar debut single 'Backstreets' last year, Newcastle-based outfit IRKED are back at it once again with their anthemic new effort 'Move'.
Lifted from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP, which is due out on the 17th May via Scene Report Records, 'Move' sees them continuing that bold and ferocious punk energy they first arrived with. Brimming with killer hooks and tenacious riffs at every turn, this lot are certainly ready to make plenty of noise on the UK scene in the months ahead.
Speaking about the new offering, the band describe it as “all about the frustrations and irritations of striking the work/life balance, and navigating disingenuous people, people-pleasing, and unwanted attention.”
