After spending the last few months building and cultivating their sound, LA-based newcomers Sunder are now ready to introduce themselves to the fold with their riveting debut single 'The Day I Died'.
Featuring members of Foliage, World Peace, Mareux, and Cold Gawd, Sunder make for a wondrous addition to today's new music scene. Their initial offering 'The Day I Died' makes for a beautifully warm and immersive listen to boot. Brimming with bright and emotive textures throughout, they are kicking things off with a wildly enjoyable opening number here.
Speaking about the new offering, vocalist/guitarist Steven Esquibel said, “We wanted ‘The Day I Died’ to envelop the listener in beautiful atmospheric sound, while the melancholic vocal melodies inspire a longing for more. Infused with the sound of ‘80s dream pop, our hope for the band is to capture that nostalgic sound and push its boundaries into the modern era.”
