Having already cemented themselves with a string of impactful offerings this past year, London-based outfit oreglo are now looking to cement their enigmatic legacy to date with the release of their hotly-tipped debut EP 'Not Real People'.
Featuring the previously released singles ‘comet’ ft. Bel Cobain, ‘peck’, ‘levels’ and ‘J.A.C.K.’, which have seen support from NME, Clash, Notion, The Line of Best Fit, Dork, Radio 1, 1Xtra, 6Music and many more, this new seven-track collection makes for a dazzling introduction to their sound so far. Freewheeling through heavy rock riffs to drill-inspired percussion and breezy reggae, the quartet have cultivated a unique sound that acts as a melting pot of all the sounds they know and love from London.
Speaking about the new EP, they said, “Not Real People is a representation of our collective experiences as young people in London. It takes inspiration from all the sounds and people we have grown up with, from rock anthems to a steppers bounce; it tackles themes of alienation in an endlessly changing city as well as the realisation of identity that forms as we traverse through adolescence.”
