After originally making their mark with their stunning initial offerings 'Somebody Somewhere' and 'Brain Freeze' earlier this year, emerging outfit Everyone Say Hi have now announced their plans for their eagerly-awaited self-titled debut album.
Formed by ex-Kaiser Chiefs’ songwriter/drummer Nick Hodgson, Everyone Say Hi have rekindled the more emotive side to the indie-rock sphere with their run of releases to date. Showcasing their new LP with the wondrous new single 'Only One', it feels as though the band are set to become one of the more talked about names on the rise in the months ahead.
Speaking about 'Only One', Hodgson said, “This was the first new song that came out of me for the album. Whenever I’ve written albums, they start with one song and when it happens I know that whether I like it or not, an album is happening.
“Only One is another love song essentially, but when I write a love song they’re not very romantic but more matter of fact. In this case I’m saying, I love it when you phone me up in the middle of the night, something that’s pretty inconvenient but because it’s a certain person, you love it.”
