Following on from the release of her much-loved 'Viva La Vulva' EP last year, Freak Slug has now returned to announce the details behind her long-awaited debut album 'I Blow Out Big Candles'.
Set to arrive on the 8th November via Future Classic, her initial full-length is being previewed by her stunning comeback single 'Spells'. Bringing back more of that broad and inventive aesthetic she has earned a solid reputation for, her latest outing continues that adventurous streak that has made her much an impactful name doing the rounds right now.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “Spells is a track I made with Alex from Jadu Heart and it's the first song we ever made together on the album. We worked fast together in a hyper environment where the sun was shining through the windows and I was stealing his cigarettes smoking in the garden in excitement from making the song.”
