BBC announce 'David Bowie: The Last Five Years' documentary

To commemorate what would have been is 70th birthday year, the BBC have announced a new documentary that aims to explore the last few years of the life of David Bowie.

The new film 'David Bowie: The Last Five Years' was produced and directed by Francis Whately, who also made the 2013 film ‘David Bowie: Five Years’, and will include unseen footage recorded during the recording of his last two album, ‘The Next Day’ and ‘Blackstar’.

The BBC are aiming to show the documentary in January, which will also be the one year anniversary of his death, and you can check out the short trailer from the film below.
