Bear's Den announce soundtrack to series three of Apple TV series 'Trying'

Fresh off the back of their stunning new album 'Blue Hours' earlier this year, Bear's Den have now returned to announce a very special new project.

The duo were enlisted to write and perform the soundtrack to the new series of the hit Apple TV show 'Trying', and have collaborated with the likes of Maisie Peters, Jade Bird, and Monica Martin on the release. The new nine-track collection is set to arrive on the 22nd July, and is being previewed by the Maisie Peters featuring 'A Good Love Pt. 2'.

Speaking about the soundtrack and working with Maisie Peters, Bear's Den said, "This whole opportunity only really came about because of Maisie so we're eternally grateful to her for that! We were asked to collaborate on her brilliant song: 'I want you to change (because you want to change)' for the 2nd series of Trying which was so fun to be involved in. Without that moment, writing these songs would never have happened. It made total sense to us, because of that, for Maisie to be the first person we asked to collaborate with on the song: 'A Good Love pt 2'. Maisie is such a brilliant artist, songwriter and singer and to collaborate with her in the studio was so much fun. She made a bunch of lyrical changes that were just amazing and her voice and style is so cool and unique. It was just super inspiring to work with her. A huge honour and such a cool and funny person to boot!"

While Maisie Peters added, "I had the most special magical experience making the soundtrack for season 2, so when the guys asked if I would be interested in having a small part to play in season 3 of course I said yes. I have been fans of theirs for years and as soon as I heard this song I knew I wanted to be part of it. Working with them is a dream and I think this song is a perfect blend of our universes, and the perfect way to tie up the musical world of Trying.”"
