After returning earlier this year to share his highly-praised comeback singles ‘Copening’ and ‘Weakend’, Benjamin Clementine has now announced his plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.
The new full-length 'And I Have Been' marks his first record since 2017's 'I Tell A Fly', is being previewed by the new lead track 'Genesis', and is set to be released on the 28th October via his own label Preserve Artists.
Speaking about the new release, which is set to be unveiled in two parts, he said, “‘And I Have Been’ was conceived during Covid. Like everyone, I was also confronted with a lot of lessons, complications and epiphanies to do with sharing my path with someone special. ‘Part One’ is just setting the scene, it’s the tip of the iceberg which sets the scene for ‘Part Two’, which goes deeper.”
