Beth Ditto announces solo album 'Fake Sugar'

After first announcing her plans to release a new solo album last month, former Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto has now unveiled the details surrounding her forthcoming record.

The new full-length 'Fake Sugar' is being previewed by the lead single 'Fire', which sounds like a more than suitable follow-up to her work with Gossip, and is due out on the 16th June via Virgin/EMI.
