Beyoncé leads Grammy nominations

The nominations for this year's Grammy Awards have been announced, with Beyoncé topping the list with a total of nine nominations for next year's event, and Drake, Kanye West and Rihanna coming a close second with eight nominations each.

As always, the eclectic nature of the awards has meant that a number of notable acts are also in with a chance of winning. David Bowie's final album 'Blackstar' has found its way into the Best Alternative Album category, while the single 'Blackstar' also makes an appearance under Best Rock Song. Radiohead, Alabama Shakes, Chance The Rapper and Solange have also found themselves in numerous categories.

There no way we can cover all the nominations here, but to see the full list of those up for grabs, visit the Grammys' official site here.
