British singer-songwriter Billie Marten has announced her fifth album 'Dog Eared', set for release on the 18th July via Fiction Records. Alongside the announcement, she’s shared the album’s opening track 'Feeling', a tender, rhythm-focused song inspired by vivid childhood memories.
Recorded in New York with producer Phil Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Laura Veirs), Dog Eared features a stellar cast of collaborators, including Núria Graham, Josh Crumbly, Shahzad Ismaily, and Sam Amidon, among others. The album marks a new creative chapter for Marten—intimate, confident, and rich in texture.
Following the release of 2023’s 'Drop Cherries', Marten spent the past year writing, touring, and developing the demos that became 'Dog Eared'. Her largest UK headline show to date will take place later this year at O2 Forum Kentish Town, as part of a wider tour across North America, Europe, Ireland, and the UK.
